📋 Your Program: Every session is planned in advance. Sets, reps, exercise selection, and progression — all designed around your specific goals and adjusted as you improve. You'll never walk into the gym wondering what to do.

📲 Between Sessions: Direct access to Josh via message for questions, form checks, and accountability. Your coaching doesn't stop when the session ends.

YOUR COACH - Josh Ashton

Josh Ashton holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science from Auckland University of Technology and has been training for 7+ years. He specialises in strength development, athletic performance, and conditioning — and as a BJJ purple belt who won nationals at purple belt level, he has a particular understanding of what it takes to build a body that performs under pressure.

His approach is straightforward: science-based programming, honest coaching, and no wasted time. Every session has a purpose. Every program has a plan. Results follow.

Josh trains clients in person across Auckland and coaches online clients throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Common Questions

How many sessions per week will I do?

This depends on your goals and schedule. Most clients train 2–4 times per week. We discuss this during your initial consultation.

Do I need to already be fit to start?

No. I work with complete beginners through to competitive athletes. Your program starts from exactly where you are.

Where are sessions held?

I train clients at Genesis Fitness Gym, located on 33 Haast Street, Remuera, Auckland
